I am pinging all of you for a couple reasons: A) to give you an idea of where I am, as someone who is [i]writing furiously[/i], and B) because I've seen a lot of you concerned about not having enough time to make your CHOICE. I know it's a lot to go through - this adventure [i]technically[/i] was condensed from 14 days to 12, which means you're currently working through [b]3 days[/b] worth of information, packed into one big Grand Finale - and I want to make sure nobody has to rush this! To help ensure you have plenty of time, I'm activating a [b]post guard[/b] two hours before the scheduled end of this event (currently [b]Tuesday[/b] at 01:00FRT - so shortly after RO). [list][*][b]What does that mean?[/b] It means that I will accept [b]ANSWERS[/b] literally right up until [b]00:59FRT[/b], post-rollver on tuesday. For a dragon who hates heights, she sure ended up in the worst place possible. Just as she starts to review the memories of other timelines (she’s still not quite sure how that part works, but she’s rolling with it), the platform lurches alarmingly and Circe feels her stomach turn. Still, she’s been told multiple times by these strange spirits that the fate of the world rests on her decision, so she must make it carefully. In order to do so, she must have all the facts. Given she can only ask two questions, Circe reviews the past (or future?) memories, to see what queries of hers may already have been answered. She tries to take notes along the way, but the lurching platform and moving images are only making her vertigo worse. After reviewing the information contained in the wind spectre’s memories, Circe crawls over to the red obelisk. When she hears that the fungal ghast claims that its kind were explorers and scientists just like herself, Circe feels her pulse quicken. The wind spectre hadn’t offered much information on who they were and instead had come across as a little condescending and patronizing in some of their replies. When she first got here, Circe would have immediately chosen the Windsinger’s power over the Plaguemother’s, given that she had always assumed the Plaguemother offered nothing but death and decay. After listening to both sides of their story, however, she is no longer so sure. Reminding herself that she doesn’t have much time, Circe turns to the fungal ghast, finally ready to ask her questions. “What will you do if I succeed in saving you?” “What makes the Plaguemother’s power better than that of the Windsinger?” She waits for a response before deciding what to ask the wind ghost.
