'Cynfal watches over the young hatchlings roughhousing in the nursery. Their parents are taking a much needed day off; so he's taking care of the gaggle of babies for the day. Why wouldn't he? He may be an explorer, a warrior, but being part of the village to raise a child is something he refuses to live without doing. It was how he was raised, after all.'

'Cynfal watches over the young hatchlings roughhousing in the nursery. Their parents are taking a much needed day off; so he's taking care of the gaggle of babies for the day. Why wouldn't he? 'Robin rides across the tundra, perched in her elk's antlers. Normally her expeditions would be in an alternate dimension, with the company of her mother and Cynfal. She does not mind the solitude, or the familiarity of her home dimension. It's a nice change to the watchful eyes of the older dragons, and the feeling of not knowing what she may find, or if what she finds may prove deadly. Today she is just another scavenger, searching for scraps and artifacts in the snow. She likes that idea; being no different to countless other dragons. It's not a life that can ever truly be hers; being the one naturally born portaller in her whole family set that in stone long ago. But that cannot, will not, stop her from appreciating the small moments of normalcy.'

He's not a particularly strong flier, like many other harpies are; nobody saw a need to teach him to really fly. Why should he be taught more than the basics, when he'd be spending his life carefully guarded? He closes his eyes, relishing the way the wind feels in his feathers. He earned his freedom, and he fully intends to make the most of it.'
