TOPIC | Ganondorf's Breeding Log
At the time of writing, this is a female Spiral dragon with body sporting a patternless gradient of bright violet and orange, wings with a duller purple and orange gradient with black spots and stripes, a light blue segmented tail, and light blue eyes. She is wearing the Grove Sylvan set, which is a teal dress with lacewing-like wings, and silver filigree jewelry with teal gems.
At the time of writing, this is a male Obelisk dragon with a red body with floral patterns, shiny emerald green wings and mane, and red lace markings on the wings and belly, and white eyes.
At the time of writing, this is a male Imperial dragon with a patternless gradient on his body of pale brown and pale green, a glittery yellow belly and horns, translucent insect-like wings of bright pinks and blues, and a blue mane.
Projects complete!

A productive month! Well, that's RNG for you, I can go months without any projects completing, then all at once we've got a slew of them. Firstly, the Spiral. I actually had fantastic luck with this project, and had a few pairs speed through to later generations. She unfortunately didn't inherit Spiral or Fade, both of which were in the project, but it was going to take months still to get those genes passed down to the level her parents were at, and they're treasure scrolls, so they were covered. She's actually a near-miss the wisher ended up liking more - her tertiary is one-off.

The Obelisk came right as the wish became eligible for gem scrolls, and just lacked Alloy. So that was taken care of, and he's been sent home! I actually made quite the mistake with this project - I, somehow, mistook Butterfly for Alloy. No, I don't know how. One set of grandparents, therefore, actually didn't have Alloy at all. But, genes are fixable. It's when you make mistakes with the colours that really hurts.

And lastly, the Imp! This one was my oldest project for a little bit, and I was really spamming the final pairs. It actually took my grandparents a while to get me pairs that were under 1 in 20. They were capable of it, mind you, they just didn't want to cooperate for a bit. This boy comes from the best pair I was able to make, which was 1 in 14!

Aaand... I have not picked up any new wishes. The Auraboas are going to be filling my nests like crazy for a while yet, so going to hold out until they're at least onto their separate trees and starting to downsize. Or, maybe if I can finish the White/Antique guys, and maybe a Radio or two. That'd be nice. But, let's give an update on how all the projects are doing.
  • Obsidian/Vermilion/Vermilion - I have 3 grandparent pairs, because this project has been a little painful and I'm starting to think there's no such thing as overkill for this one. But, that being said, it's on grandparents! Our best (and currently only) final pair is a dreadful 1 in 64, though, so it's gonna take a little bit yet to get some decent final pairs that'll get the job done. While I'll throw the 1 in 64 at a nest whenever they're RTB, expecting them to be able to get the job done may be asking too much.
  • Obsidian/Garnet/Amber - Both trees are on grandparents, with one of the grandparents having given me two perfect boys thus far. Hoping this one wraps up soon! It certainly feels like it's going to behave.
  • Triple Radio Coatls - These ladies are taking their sweet time. I actually got a near-miss that would have been perfect recently - had he been a lady. The sets I've got pairs for are: Metallic/Alloy/Koi, Crystal/Facet/Circuit, Iridescent/Shimmer/Soap, Harlequin/Jester/Wish, Petrified/Lode/Stained. I don't know how I have pairs set up for those last two gene combos, but haven't found something to set up Wasp/Bee/X. Also, what tertiary each primary/secondary set gets boils down to "what's the most convenient to pair together". Other than keeping sets together, none of this is really predetermined.
  • Ginger/Splash/Cherry - We're on grandparents for this one. The newer set of grandparents is slowing me down a little - they have a longer cooldown, so getting ample babies to make final pairs with is a little slow.
  • Ivory/Buttercup/Maize - I think we got a perfect girl at some point. Best pair is currently 1 in 12, so crossing fingers this one is done soon!
  • White/Peridot/Fern - We're still mostly on the first generation, and some pairs are approaching the point where they'll be replaced. That being said, Coatl & Wildclaw cooldowns really stretch out a project, so it being on the first generation still isn't too surprising. Most pairs have only had 2 or 3 breedings since I started the project.
  • White/Antique Wildclaws - I have 6/8 of the dragons, and didn't breed a single one of those. I almost want to ask myself why I even bothered with breeding them, but it turns out the last two are actually a little bit rarer to find, both of them being the XYYs (Antique/White/White and White/Antique/Antique). So, I'm still breeding for those. I actually do have a White/Antique/Antique, but he comes from a pair that'll get me a better shot at the Antique/White/White, so I'm holding out for a different pair to give me one.
  • Marigold/Oilslick/Grapefruit - We're actually already on grandparents, with one of the grandparents giving me two perfect-colours females, so we're well on our way to the finish line here. The other grandparents wegged me so I'm waiting for round two in hopes of better results than the sorry lad they gave me.
  • Sable/Peach/Umber - We're fully on great-grandparents now, and with all the genes in the mix! We'll see if we manage to get those genes on whatever final baby hatches, but the potential is there.
  • Buttercup/Grey/Sanddollar - Time will tell if we need another pair. What I've got should be sufficient, but things can always go pear-shaped.
  • Cyan/Grape/Cyan - Well... it's set up. We're working on first and second rounds of breedings right now, and many pairs have yet to give me kids that are worthy of the next generation. I've been keeping their best kids as replacements for themselves, but I may struggle to find sufficiently-unrelated substitutions. The possibility of 4 trees to give myself the extra generation to work with has not been ruled out yet, and is a truly bonkers prospect.
