TOPIC | A Legacy of War Breeding Challenge!
Finally deciding to join in! I've got some starters, so I'll get to breeding once they're old enough. They may not be the nicest looking pair, but I suppose I can always breed new ones with their children. Until then.. You can check up page two of my dragons for them!

I did get pretty lucky with all of them having at least one upgrade! Though with a 5-color range, how the heck did they all end up with Plum??? Heliotrope, the first born, is XYX, and has Tiger. He's a friendly, inquisitive dragon always poking his nose into books or other dragons' business. Wisteria, the second child, also inherited Tiger. She's a vain sort, picking through clothes and rarely looking satisfied, and hates getting her scales dirty. Hyacinth, the third kiddo, got a breed upgrade to Pearlcatcher as well as Underbelly. He's optimistic, but naive and offbeat, with his head in the clouds. Gladiolus, the fourth one, has the same upgrades as Hyacinth, but I like his colors better. He's my personal favorite. He's studious, but a bit shy, and would rather listen than talk. And finally, Liatris was the only one to inherit a secondary upgrade, as well as getting the Pearlcatcher breed. He's brash and noisy, and very confident.

@ArouraBorialice @shepardess @Luciferr @pensandink @Ivythorn @Geology @GoldenSootball @Oakensoul @Nightingale17 @Dreamcoyote The day has come for the next generation to hatch! A four-egg nest held a lot of promise for the now ninth (!!) step in this challenge. Given the advancements over the last few generations, I was excited to see what the future may hold. With images courtesy of the scrying workshop, I give you... The eldest, Branwen! Her colors are so neat; I love the way the Moon Lace stands out against her Obsidian primary. Sadly, she has no upgrades to speak of, but I'm admittedly finding it difficult to care when she looks so gorgeous. Besides, she has the coolest ID of the bunch: 34432222. If any of you guys are nifty ID collectors and she falls in combat, feel free to ping me if you're interested in her! Then there's the second-born, Pwyll! He also has a cool ID (34432223) that you can ping me if you're interested in should he fall, but that's not all this pretty boy boasts. He received not one, but two gene upgrades: the secondary boosted to Hex, and the tertiary to Runes. Top that with the gorgeous coloration, and I'll admit upfront that he's my favorite to win. What a handsome boy! Following up is the third-born, Manawydan! Like the oldest, he hasn't received any upgrades, but... look at his colors: Black, Grey, and White. The monochrome trio! I wouldn't be offended if he became my heir for the ninth generation. Something about him is just cool to me. I can picture him wearing sunglasses so easily. And finally, there's the youngest, Blodeuwedd! Even though she received the breed upgrade to Imperial, her triple white range colors are... boring to me. My last few heirs looked nearly identical to her in terms of coloration and I'm ready for a change. I won't be overwhelmed with despair if she became my heir or anything -- an upgrade is an upgrade -- but yeah. All her Bogsneak siblings just appeal to me more. All that said, I'm stoked to see who will emerge victorious out of this batch of siblings. I can't believe the tenth generation is almost here -- and with it, my final heir and winner of the first-ever Legacy of War Challenge! The end is just around the corner, but first we have to see just who will be considered one of the lucky parents of this final, important step. I'll see you guys in a few days!
