I may be an artist, and definitely a rambler in my own writing (as you'll soon notice from the length of this post), but I don't think my vocabulary is nearly as illustrious as I'd like it to be for the epic little story I'm looking for... That's where you come in! As the title says, I'm looking for a short story to be written, mainly for my own enjoyment, of two particular dragons in my lair: Lunarpsion vs Nylinmir. It will be a battle for the ages! [center][size=4][b]What I'm looking for:[/b][/size][/center] I have [b]two very big, sinister, arcane/space-themed dragons[/b], destined to battle. They've got some basic lore which evoke some pretty [b]interesting, dark-magic themes,[/b] and I'd LOVE [b]to see them have an epic battle[/b]. Looking for something [b]a little bit twisted and dark is fine,[/b] but not too gory or eldritch [i](General fighting and mention of wounds/broken horns are fine, but I don't need grotesque details.)[/i]. They're both [b]chaotic evil,[/b] and [b]a little bit smug,[/b] so the reason for their battle could be just about anything, even something as cheesy or trope-filled like [i]"this town ain't big enough for the two of us."[/i] As long as it's written more seriously than that, anything goes! [b]Ending of the battle is up to you![/b] There's a sea of possibility! Vast multiverses of how the battle ends...especially in a battle of the magically-adept. [center][size=5][b]THE DRAGONS[/b][/size][/center] These dragons aren't at the forefront of the clan, and aren't the focus of any main plot, I just think they're super neat. Lunar in particular is pretty cool, and having been a Roundsey egg I won, I knew I had to make him special! I think they could have a pretty epic showdown if push came to shove, and I'd love to see how others would write it! [u]Misc Headcanon Stuff[/u] [LIST] [*]The apparel doesn't have to exist in your writing, or doesn't have to be called out, unless you want to make up something cool about it (like the skull or halos representing various spells/attacks). [*]Cartoon rules apply - dragons walk on four legs unless sitting down or talking with their hands. Then they can articulate, gesture, or do anything anyone with normal hands could do. [*]Her element is technically Ice, but feel free to nix that and give her various abilities, based on her halos or general "magic." She comes from space after all and absorbs magic from others! [*]These two are BIG and SCARY to most dragons. They're meant to be intimidating, but not to each other. They're definitely smug. [*]While they're meant to have an epic battle, feel free to place your own limits on their abilities - maybe Nyl hasn't absorbed enough magic recently, and has to buy herself time? Maybe Lunar can't handle his wild magic this time due to a lunar eclipse he didn't forsee? She survives on cosmic and arcane magics and gets especially energetic when exposed to solar flares. If she gets too hungry around mortal dragons, she'll slowly feed off the magic within them, occasionally killing younger dragons. She's been driven from many a pack because of this. She's also got a lawful neutral acolyte: [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/57748210][b]Novabloom,[/b][/url] who watches her like a hawk, protecting the clan. You might read her bio too, if you include her as a side character! His tent appears to those in need of simple healing, but he's quite capable of regrowing limbs, and some even claim he dabbles in darker necromantic arts for those he finds on the brink of death. Once healed, they're indebted to him, tasked with gathering rare materials or fighting strange beasts. One of his most intriguing quirks is his lunar metamorphosis, in which his body shifts and changes with each cycle of the moon (various scries in bio). His healing and destructive power also aligns with the lunar cycle, being strongest during a full moon, and weakest just before he reforms during a new moon. He is also uniquely powerful during certain lunar events or as certain stars and planets align, but for the most part his abilities simply align with the waxing and waning of the moon. Thank youuu! I freakin love his colors and had this drawing in the works for like over a year. ;v;

I'm super terrible at guessing word counts, so I just tossed a couple of my longer bio stories into a google doc for reference and that was around 1100-1400 words.

Just based on that, I'd likely be willing to pay for 1000-2000 words if that's what it takes to get a real good battle scene (depending on price, of course, as I do have a budget)!

I do have to head to bed soon, unfortunately, but I'll pop in before I go to work in the morning! :)

That's completely doable! I have a battle scene for reference actually.

REFERENCES: Minerva here has the battle scene. Sombra also has a short story in her bio. That's all I got atm, steadily working on more.
PRICES: I guess 150-250g depending on length. That's like, 150 for around 1000 words and 250 for 2000. Honestly I have no idea what to charge lol
PROMPT: If you could be a Flight Rising dragon breed, what would you be and why? :)
I think I'd like to be a Skydancer. Active? Yes please. Able to sense emotions? Oh yes. Short fur? Major plus.

Imperial Male, has ptsd and psychosis but is struggling to be a decent dragon.

Imp, Male. My own dragon with a #TragicBackstory as they all do. Some gore and violence but non-descript.

Tiger:
Skydancer, M. Was a lore comm for a dragon in honour of their passed cat. It's more on the heavy emotion filled but worth yeeting here since it isnt linked on my lore shop.

PRICES:
So I usually work at about 250g for 500 words. If you're looking for approx. 2k it'd be closer to 1k gems. However, if you're looking for a scene without a woed count cap, we can probably work shop a price to fit without the worry of paying extra if I run over the agreed word count / worry about the story getting chopped down in places.

PROMPT: I am a simple little creachur and if I could be a FR breed, i'd be a mirror. Not because they're cool or anything but because they, too, are little flock goblins that cannot be left unattended around anything of value as well as individuals under the age of 5.
