I tend to throw Meat and Plants in when I go below 10k, but I only add Insects and Seafood when need it since some dragons will eat Meat/Plants if those two aren't available. Right now, Meat is at 12097 and Plants are at 9844.

Nope! I don't see the point of it ^^'
I only convert food when I hit 0 and I usually just convert 1 stack of food from the Mire or Kelp Beds, that gives over 300 points and will last me a few weeks.

There is too much money to be earned from selling stacks of food for me to convert food above the nessesary amount :3

Nope! I have a lot of fodder all the time so I'm minimizing the expenses by feeding with plants first and converting the necessary amount of the other types only after that. Thus I usually have about 1-2k plants and 0 or close to 0 of the other types XD

Kind of. I get nervous when it drops below 2k each xD I like to have enough in case I can't play much for a longer time.

We tend to convert a whole lot all at once then leave it until something runs out. We have 21k points of seafood at the moment but 0 in meat :D

I don't actively micromanage my food points, but I kinda keep it in the back of my head that my clan are a bunch of farmers that scrape a living off the land. Thus the food stores are rather low and don't ever get above 3000. Currently I'm at

795 insects, 1340 meats, 2126 seafood and 1281 plants.

I used to hoardsell all non-baldwin food but now that I reached 0 on all I convert all non-baldwin food :)

I do, simply because that way I know if I have enough in case I can't access the coli for a long time (hotels and campings usually don't have the best internet connection when I go abroad)
