I don't really like nocturnes either TBH.... I hatched one egg, but ended up giving the hatchling to my friend. To me the adult forms are just kind of boring and really remind me of spike-less guardian dragons with different poses kind of.

That is an amazing color range across the board for an egg-hatched dragon. In your position, I'd definitely keep him.
As for genes... well, I like theme-ing my dragons, so this little one look to me like a water snake of some sort. So probably Ripple/Current/smoke or underbelly. or maybe Bar/Daub/underbelly. Maybe even Bar/Current/underbelly.
