My egg hatched into an Chocolate/Gold/Obsidian Female. It's an shame she's not a male, because she'd make the perfect mate for my Sand/Jungle/Spring girl.

Wow. I was lucky enough to snag another egg last night (I gifted one to a friend earlier that day), and waited to open it until today so his birthday would be the 24th. When it hatched I ended up with this pretty baby;

I realized right away that he had the perfect colors to be a holiday-themed dragon! :D So now his name is Nikolai and I fashioned a backstory for him on the spot! I'm so happy! I shall keep him forever!
Now all I need is to get enough money to make him bar/daub or bar/stripe and he's perfect...
This event has had it's ups and downs, but ultimately I'm very happy with how it is panning out! It certainly has found me grinding in the coliseum with a fervor I never had before! :)
