Dragon Share

Considering all but five of my dragons are gen 1 projects, I have a lot of 'perfect' dragons (I spend a lot of time in the preview area before I gene each dragon). So I'll go with 'most pleasant perfection surprise', which would be this girl: [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=2527597] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/25276/2527597_350.png[/img] [/url] Just, I did not expect her to come out as well as she did, but she did, and combined with this familiar, she's just perfect IMO: [img]http://flightrising.com/images/cms/familiar/art/6073.png[/img] It's also perfect for another reason: when I was first getting found eggs, they were all arcane, and at one point my lair was over half arcane dragons. So, I guess she's my tribute to that time of my FR life (Thanks, Arcanist!)

I lovingly call him Obi. A month or so after the site was opened, I deserately sought out the perfect dragon to personify my shadow Clan. One day, I came across a pretty pair in FireThroats lair and was put on a payment plan to have a baby Wildclaw boy. This boy hatched on July 9th and I've had him ever since. He was my first ever Wildclaw and I have thus spoiled him to peices. Though he is water clan, he is my Rep for my clan and avatar. Being named from a particularly odd mesh of stone I wanted him to look as such, so when Crystal came out, I nearly spat my food into the Internet out of pure glee. Now complete with his facet gene. He has reached his outstanding potential and I xannot wait to see the babs with his mate Nythix when they hatch~ A long journey finally completed. ouo

It makes the overlapping scales on their front look like armor plates, which I love. And I wanted it to be in the Black coloration because that just makes it look even more like armor. On top of that, I've loved Circuit since I joined in October. And I wanted a secondary and tertiary that were in the black-grey-white range so that the whole creature looked monochrome, like a robot of sorts. Then, I was browsing through the AH when I saw her. A little Guardian hatchling, with the perfect colors. I bought her (for over 200k treasure) and then bought a Ridgeback scroll special for her. I couldn't be happier with my robodragon :3

Since I first signed up on the site, I wanted a dragon with this color combination and I bought her parents with that in mind (it doesn't hurt that her parents are one of the oldest pairs that I have and I absolutely adore them). I'd forgotten about that breeding goal until she showed up, and she is absolutely perfect, both aesthetically and as far as her lineage.

When I first saw him in the AH, my jaw just dropped. I love the Bar and Daub genes together. The colors were perfect and his white underbelly just really made me go after him. Now I just gotta get him a better outfit and such, since this is my fae's outfit....it doesn't look exactly right on him if I may say so.... LOL

[img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/1602/160186_350.png[/img] Chowen, here, was the second egg I ever hatched. Everything about her was perfect– Her maize, her white, her platinum tertiary... She's a beauty to behold, and her Lightning eyes are perfect, too. Hatching as a guardian, she always had a very focused and intent desire to protect her clan, but had difficulty keeping up with some of the more energetic of her clanmates, which was a source of serious conflict for her, seeing as you can't protect what you can't keep up with. One day, the clanhead, seeing her struggling as she was, decided to bestow upon her a scroll to change her nature, and give her the energy and upbeat optimism that she needed to help take care of the dragons around her. Everything seemed to click into place overnight. It didn't take long for her to reimagine herself to be a powerful and shining rolemodel in the clan, earning her shining hide after some lucrative gambles paid off, and when the clan made the decision to emmigrate from the Lightweaver's domain to that of the Stormcatcher, she rallied them and took over for Sarpele and David, the former clan-heads. She's currently running her adorably ragtag clan with Ockzel, her mate and partner-in-crime, as the heart and soul of their extended family... or factory... thriving under the Boss-man's direction.

He has been my dream dragon for months, and his colour combination was incredibly hard to breed. Now that I look at him, it's almost unbelievable that he's 8 months old already, it feels like it was just yesterday when I finally hatched him. I was obsessed with many dragons, but this boy here wasn't able to be purchased, I had to hunt and breed him myself - maybe that's why he's still so special to me. =) I had several breeding pairs and breeding projects going, and some very lovely friends I bugged a lot about getting this boy haha - @Lix, @Razaera and @rainwaltz are part of the story, and I'm still so grateful for their support, so I have to mention them here. =P I will also never forget that one great 4-egg-nest, which we were all so happy about, because it had 100% perfect colour outcome. [i]But nope, all four hatchlings turned out to be girls.[/i] So yeah, it took a lot of time and effort, but in the end, on the first day of spring, he was finally born. Definitely forever the best dragon hunt I've ever had on FR :)
