However, since pride was already a factor, a fall was all that remained. During a particularly difficult scrap against the shade Morbus and his kin were disadvantaged when a fissure, no doubt contrived by the shade itself, divvied up their already scattered forces. Morbus and his children, desperately trying to outpace the blackened force that raked at their heels, knit closely together and moved in unison as hunting Mirrors are wont to do. He only had time to feel the black clutches come down on him accompanied by a chorus of his family’s shrieks before his world went dark. He was not the stalwart supporter he had been, his constant state of confusion and inability to tell past from present made him worthless to the cause. His temperament shifted from ruthlessly loyal to unsure and somewhat timid; it was decided by those in his camp that he would be mercifully put down. Her upbringing in the Ice Flight caused her to have a rather cool and insensitive streak, which she now knows to not fit with dragons of many other flights, thus falling to a more apologetic way of approaching things. She is oft pushed over if she doesn't stand her ground and apologies too often. Most of the time though, Elizabeth is adventurous and very conversational, enjoying the company of others and thinking of new and clever ideas from the history around her. She, like all Light Flight dragons, is in the pursuit of truth and wished to truly understand what happens to the Exalted. N.B due to this infatuation with the exalted she may appear clingy and ask ALOT of questions to ex-exalted. Backstory: Elizabeth was hatched in the harsh cold lands of The Southern Icefield. It was a rather monotonous life filled with survival and bitterness. She found a mate at a young age, young love, flighting and childish, and bore four children to him. Much to her complete dismay, all these Children were exalted not hours after they were born, send to the Icewarden's cause for one reason or another. Now, a mother should be proud of her children being chosen for such a task, but.... not this young. Her mate told her she was being too soft and that it was his hope all along. Then, if matters could not be worse, he was taken up to be with the Icewarden also, Exalted for the cause. She tried to make sense of it and forced herself to stay at her lair for a few more months but this lead to her becoming curious and embittered; scared of those around her, her lair could no longer could keep her there and were tempted to recommend her for exalting to get her away, she was now just a burden. She had to discover the truth. Fleeing her lair, she took flight north east crossing The Ashfall Waste, testing her endurance in hot, ash-filled air and treacherous fighting opponents. She continued north easterly and made it to The Shifting Expanse, she found some solstice there inspired by the clever and ingenious dragons of the Lighting Flight, despite everything that their region threw at them. Though unfortunately the lair she took refuge in was destroyed by some freak storm, one that even the Lighting dragons could predict. Moving onward, North, She finally came to the northern edges of The Sunbeam Ruins where she was met with a slightly cooling breeze under the warm but kind sun of the Lightwever's Region. Here she found a home in a new lair called Scroll's Keep Gate. She was able to find some peace in searching for truth, and her life went on unaffected for some time. After the 'First Escape', Elizabeth became more and more agitated about exalting and took trips around to other regions, trying to discover more... As an Adult Dragon, she has this chirpy personality under control and tends to think deeply for long periods of time before coming up with a comment or answer, unless she is spoken to, then she may talk for hours. Her chatter isn't incessant though, and some of it it highly useful to the situation. She holds deep compassion for ill and young dragons and will fight to defend those who can't defend themselves. Backstory: Nymph was born in the realm of the Plaugebringer, the harsh, living land; survival was all that mattered. During a particularly harsh season in this bizarre and un-yielding land, Nymph's Parents sought solstice amongst the Nature Flight. Here Nymph spent most of her life living with the peaceful and clam nature dragons enjoying a more wild and natural way of life, serving the GladeKeeper. Her service and apt skills did not go unnoticed by the regions Deity though, and as an adolescent, was exalted for the cause. Dragon's Name: Elizabeth, Lizzie

Exalt?: No

Their Deity: Lightweaver

Age Status Current: Adult

Sex: Female

Personality: Elizabeth is a rash and apologetic dragon.

Dragon's Name: Nymph

Age Status when Exalted: Hatchling / Juvenile / Adult

Age Status Current: Hatchling / Juvenile / Adult

Sex: Female

Their Deity: The Gladekeeper

Personality: Nymph is a cheery personality with four sharp eyes on constant alert, she can seem extremely hyper and some believe she was supposed to be born a Spiral, her thought patterns and attention switching quickly.

Initially, she was excited, her eyesight improved near 100-fold and she healed miraculously fast. What a blessing.

Their reason for Escaping: After an extended period of continual fighting, evaluating and conversation with the tired Exalted, Nymph discovered how exhausting fighting was.
