I dont usually scry gem genes because I know I'll never afford it. So, I decided that I would have fun and take a random scry and trying to make as little amount of changes to it as possible make it into something pretty. I got really lucky I got a secondary and tert that matched well. I only changed the primary color. Then I randomized the secondary gene once and chose a gem gene for the others. I also picked one of the most expensive eyes types and changed it to a matching flight. I really liked the fire/(forgot the color)/saffron combo. I'd totally keep this as a premababy.

I've been playing a lot of FFXIV these last few days so that probably influenced my scry here. Newbies are endearingly called "sprouts" in the community because in-game they have a little sprout symbol of a baby plant with two little leaves. Now some of my friends and I sometimes just use the word "sprout" to mean "newbie" and thus we have a little Veilspun as a sprout.

The Eclosion gene is perfect for this theme, imo. Here I went with a firey dragon bursting out of an ice egg-like chrysalis, with streaks of red hinting at the true nature of what was inside. I imagine the streaks only started appearing as the chrysalis matured.

The start of something or a drastic change from what was before. Boundless possibilities; just starting to grow.
after many change in seasons , the egg finally hatched and new life emerged out of it. this little guy has many things to see and learn and adapt to, and perhaps years later will a place to terrorise and claim as 'home' once fully grown.

My Inspiration was the prompt, which made me combine a drastic change from what once was a calm nature tree creature into a fiery wrathful being. None assumed it was possible to adapt in this way.
