@Reithya correct, ancient versions of genes are functionally entirely different genes that just look like the modern version.

So, this is a bit embarrassing, but I am thinking of hatching a nest for the vernal equinox (March 20th). Would I breed on the 14th or 15th? I cannot for the life of me remember how long it takes to hatch a nest

hi! so um... I have a hatchery icon I saved to iCloud in an album:

but is there any way to show it as an image, not a link? I'm still (very) bad at this sort of stuff T^T and how to reduce the size so it's smaller? like a hatchery button, instead of being so giant?

for starters, you'd have to find a different site (probably imgur) to host the image on because the image link I pulled from that page does not end in a file extension
once it's in a place that's able to give you a working link, you can right click the image and select something along the lines of 'copy image location'. from there either use the tree icon or manually type in the image tags as usual to end up with the code below

the bbcode that fr uses does not have a way to resize images on site, so you'd have to handle that part somewhere else that lets you properly resize it. if you want it to fit in your signature then you'll have to make it 100 pixels tall at most (ideally 98 since you're likely using columns)
