Join me in lamenting about my dumb lizards and their colors.

I have like 3 spooky dragons and wanted to breed some of them, so I was thinking about potential babies the other day.

The two females are both blue-range primaries, and the male is sanguine (with a stain so I forgot)

LUCKILY I remembered that basically the entirety of range between reds and blues is PINK before I bred them.

Why. Why pink. Ruining my space creature/cave creature/malice creature polycule plans >:|

(Space creature can have babies that look like literally anything but the other two I kinda want to keep more on-brand)

Well pink can be spooky/creepy. It all depends on how you work with that colour.
I know it's not even close to the first (or second) colour that comes to people's minds when thinking about scary things but I have seen it work.

(Edit not trying to start a fight about colour, I'm just not that good at being encouraging, sorry if I sounded rude!)

I'll trade you my green curse for the pink curse lol. It's funny how often it seems people get stuck with the range they want to avoid!

Ask me how I learned there is a whole section of black and white colors between pink and purple (I bred a pink and a purple dragons together. that's how. more than once. my disappointment was indescribable every and each time.)

I have an azure/vermilion stock the pond pair and record all the hatchlings in her bio! they're actually mostly non-pink. reds, blurples, a few nice monochromes. but there is some pink. Oh wow what a lucky, lovely dragon! :D she's had some beautiful kids wow

I have a breeding pair that double as fandragons for a song and its two versions and MVs. The one problem is... one's tert is Grapefruit, the other is Magenta. That's a pretty wide range from yellows to pinks. Whenever they hit browns I'm so disappointed because those don't work with their guaranteed primsec colors (which are blues, they're all Indigo/Sapphire/x) and basically everything else in their possible range does work.

Pink is always ruining my ranges too, except for me its breeding orange/red dragons with black ones and all the offspring are pink ._.
