Sure makes me glad that I stopped bothering with collecting the festive skins years ago. I think thats a problem that needs to be tackled at some point. It's a bad idea to keep increasing the amount of items people can get, while keeping the prices the same. And yeah I think its more complicated than "just don't buy all of them" or "get them later".
Maybe instead of adjusting the prices, staff could introduce a fourth way to get skins? Make them drop from site activities or buyable with festive currency or something.

To be quite honest, I have long wanted more ways to get the skins and disliked the idea of just dumping new skins into the marketplace, or grand exchange now, for treasure.
And I don't just mean like they are in gathering, where it is a random chance of the chests dropping, but more like a dedicated swipp trade (perhaps one that shows up pretty often, or like the NotN swipp trades, put into the grand exchange so they are always available) for some common items, more baldwin skins, and just generally obtained through other ways, perhaps even a special arlo plot for skins.

Okay so by my understanding there are, what, 4-5 skins that you can't get if you max the Fairgrounds every day. Let's take those skins and create a new feature. Maybe special missions to complete throughout the festival week that'll give you those skins. You don't have to complete or claim the missions if you don't want the rewards (like achievements), but they're there if you want to.
Anyway, these could each be weeklong tasks that require basic gameplay of some fashion. It would be a different method with a little bit of work put in, and it fixes the problems people seem to have. It also gives a potential new feature regarding Joxar in specific, for what that may be worth to people. It's a basic idea but I do think it could be expanded to be unique to the festivals in some way. I'd have to think more on it.
In any case, I don't want to see more treasure added into the Fairgrounds. That could end up a major problem in specific. I don't feel like the chests have bad drop rates unless you're gathering, so I don't see a huge deal with them. Of the proposed changes, making prices an amount that equals the Fairgrounds cap of TR for each day of the festival makes sense to me. Which would lower them a bit, of course, though I don't fully believe it's necessary. Just my opinion though.

Staff could introduce a system wherein you can purchase the year's festival skins with a variety of items instead of just treasure. We already have the random two that are always put in Baldwin. Why not list the skins for treasure OR Festival currency? That way you can choose to pay 35kt or, idk, like 60 Snow.

Looking for: Olive/Watermelon/Cobalt, any Element. Will pay A LOT for it.

I like this idea. I'm yet another person who used to go for the full skin set, and now just picks a few I like, if any, and ignores the rest. I've gotten older, grinding is harder, so I just try not to feel too bad about missing out on the beautiful, player-created art that we're offered each month and save my treasure. I usually don't get chests anymore because I just don't spend as much time in the coliseum, and if I do coli, it's mostly for spare food in a low-level venue that already has a questionable drop rate.
A system that rewards normal gameplay, not just grinding, with something special and unique like skins/accents would be nice. It might make getting duplicates a challenge, but if what most players want is a complete set, maybe that isn't a big issue?
