I'll survive with the likelihood that it won't ever change, but the auction house not having any actual auction function does bother me in an entirely inconsequential way.

I'll survive with the likelihood that it won't ever change, but the auction house not having any actual auction function does bother me in an entirely inconsequential way.
I do get the confusion. I never understood why Crossroads was called that, but the names are stuck now. It would be super difficult to get the whole playerbase to change the way they address certain things (just look at Twitter - nobody calls it X or the mirror sculpture Bean - I don't even know what it's really called) not to mention all the broken posts. The names are a bit silly and/or misleading, but it's not something that breaks the experience for new players.
