I was real surprised that dusthides didn't get rockbreaker. It doesn't impact any of my plans personally but I had absolutely expected them to get it and I feel bad for people who did have plans. It's also a bummer because I remember that dusthides got some flack at the beginning for being "boring" or whatever and now they don't even get their own fest tert.

Someone pointed out that they got four of the six fest terts introduced after their release (Water, Nature, Light and Plague)

I was really hoping dusthides would get rockbreaker. I'm trying to do flight rep projects with each ancient for each flight, and I was super hoping to get rockbreaker for dusthides this fest, so not getting that on top of everlux not getting brightshine has really been a blow to my plans. I'm just hoping that both of them get their fest terts eventually.

I was really excited about it as well because Dusthides aren't necessarily my favorite breed but I love the shiny-ness Rockbreaker would've brought; welp, guess we have to wait (hopefully just one) year! [emoji=dusthide tongue size=2]

I see your point. But if that's the case, they should've planned better. Given Riot to something else. Besides, of all the dragons to give it to instead, they chose Aberrations. Aberrations are not lacking in the gene front at all.

The Earth ancients were denied their rocks. Like, I was hoping they'd get Flameforger this year, but when they didn't, NBD, there's always later, but they're the EARTH ANCIENT- WHY DO THEY NOT HAVE ROCKBREAKER???
I GET THAT MAYBE IT'S HARD TO DRAW IN A WAY THAT THE ARTIST LIKED, BUT LIKE- THERE WAS SO MUCH TIME TO FIGURE IT OUT BEFORE ROCKBREAKER'S CEREMONY. I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO ROCKBREAKER'S ALL YEAR AFTER DUSTHIDES WERE LAUNCHED BECAUSE I WAS EXCITED FOR DUSTIE ROCKBREAKER SINCE IT'S ONE OF MY FAVORITE FEST TERTS THAT I WANTED FOR MY FAVORITE ANCIENT AND IT JUST??? DOESN'T EXIST YET??????
It's upsetting, I'm disappointed in it, I literally just wanted the ONE thing for them and I couldn't have that- I know it's never been an EXPLICIT RULE that the ancient of that flight gets that gene, but it's been the standard up UNTIL now and unintentionally makes Dusthides feel like the least favored ancient among the devs.
Hopefully they'll get it next year.
