Oof, what a journey. My sis and I are a mess emotionally. To be honest, I genuinely hope that this is the end of Arcane. Keep the semi-open ending, please.
My sis, my dad, and I have finished. Now we just need to get our mom to join the Tragedy Train /lh.

Man I was watching for a specific thing/character and got let down hard.
I was so excited to see Vander become the Warwick of the game’s splash art because that was going to look amazing and give me LIFE. I’m really disappointed in the final version… I have some other complaints about how they used him but I’ll leave it at that.
Warwick mains were in denial after Act 2 and telling each other that the leaks were fake and/or just his mid-stage transformation before fully wolfing out in Act 3 and well… that subreddit’s having a bad day.
As for the rest of Season 2 besides that, I’ll preface by saying that I DID really enjoy Season 1 at the time it came out. Idk if the novelty of the style had worn off or if I just had too much tunnel vision going on, but overall Season 2 didn’t capture me the same way and I feel like I could’ve just skipped the whole thing.
I keep editing this to harp on some points but I said "I'll leave it at that" so I'm cutting the extra bits out and committing to actually leave it at that lol.

I'm . I'm sick. I have to leave now.
Edit: This is how I described it to someone: I feel like a bomb went off in front of me and I just stood there without trying to escape but somehow I survived.
Spoiler free opinions, wow. Absolute cinema… easily the greatest animated show of all time. I really haven’t seen anything else with such high quality before. It’s an absolute love letter to the medium and I am so glad I was along for the ride. I don’t think I’ll be impressed that much by something again for a long time.
As for the plot of s2 itself? I gotta be honest, at points it felt sloppy. In the sense that they had SO much to wrap up and finish, a lot of the pacing fell flat. A certain caitlyn arc? wasn’t even seen. Huh?? A certain not so good character, not given enough time to be not so good or have that feel earned. I dunno, I feel like maybe they weren’t given the time needed to properly handle every aspect they wanted. S1 remains my favoruite in terms of just vibe n flow.
Despite that s2 was still an incredible watch though :-)

it's peak...
I think overall S1 was better, but I am satisfied with how S2 turned out.

Yeah I think s1 was a bit stronger writing and pacing wise, though that may change when I rewatch S2 and fully digest it.

I still haven't rewatched the third arc so I'm coping by making more fandragons. Here are:
