I'm very disappointed. I was hoping for something elegant and a nice counterpart to veilspuns, but instead we got a little squishy-looking bug that doesn't make me think of Light at all. I like chubby little critters and think they're cute, but these have zero appeal for me. My flight finally got its ancient, and it's disappointing.

I normally really hate anything grub or grub like, but I appreciate these being different and are some of the first ancients to warrant a design that lacks apparel. I love their heads.
I feel that not all the dragons need to be pretty or cool, these are ugly and I like that they're ugly. I really dislike how people associate art with something pretty or pleasing to look at.

I think my biggest issue with this dragon design is not that they're chubby, or have multiple pairs of legs, or insect-like... but instead, there are parts to the body that aren't proportional at all. For example, the legs are basically twigs. I would've loved to see them lean more into the chunky aspect by making the legs slightly longer and muuuuch bulkier/wider. The wings also look too small and fragile to function without magic. While that would be fine on it's own, the legs certainly don't seem stable enough to carry the rest of it's body. So do they slither around? Inch along like a caterpillar? If they do, then I think the dragon's design would benefit more if it showed that in the artwork.

The disproportionate legs are what is throwing me off. I would have liked them to at least be longer.
