**EDIT to the EDIT** It's now been 3 months since I posted about this. My achievement is still at 85%. So I'm concluding exalting dragons does NOT count toward total treasure earned on this site? Oct 14, 2024**
***EDIT*** This was resolved. Exalted dragons DO count, but not for 45 days just in case you decide to use the self help option to un-exalt a dragon. Un-exalting a dragon does NOT automatically update all the dragons exalted previously to the achievement task, either. Patience is a virtue... Original post below***

I just checked my Achievements with Collecting, specifically the "I Love... Goooooold" on which I'm working on the very last level to collect 100 million over the life of my account. I was at 84% at the start of this week. I checked, because I was excited to watch that number change as my flight, Wind, is doing a double Dom push this week and next.
By my math, every 1 million I earn should increase that meter by 1%. On Monday, 7/8, I had 7,091,045 treasure in my hoard. (Not counting vault) As of this writing I have 9,220,385 treasure. This should have raised me at least 2%. However, I'm also a receiver for our Dom push this week so I've purchased 237 dragons with my own funds (which would decrease the total) and then exalted them (earned more treasure) so my total treasure income is more than 2 million. But... I'm still at 84% on this achievement. Is this a bug? Or am I entirely misunderstanding something somewhere...
Since Monday, I've trained and exalted 152 dragons for 1220 levels, and bought 237 dragons for 1478 levels exalted.
I'm using Google Chrome, supposedly up to date, on a Windows 11 Enterprise version 10.0.22621 Build 22621. The computer is an HP.

iirc this achievement gives misleading instructions.
this achievement reads the "total treasure earned" stat that you can find in
your account settings.
it doesn't look at how much treasure is in your account.
the stat is only increased by generating treasure through the site itself: haordselling, fairgrounds, and exalting.

Antimoany that is part of my confusion. I've earned multi millions from exalting over the last several days. By the logic of "exalt treasure counts" I should have gone up more than 2% points. Instead it's been stationary. I merely mentioned the amount in my hoard to show it has risen over 2 million.
So unless Exalt treasure does NOT count...

ah, in that case this may be a bug.
i've seen conflicting accounts as to whether exalting is included or not. some people say it makes the number go up, some say it doesn't. looks like you're another account of it not being.
it's possible there's some kind of delay in exalt funds being counted, and that's why it's so unclear.
if you feel able, it could be helpful for you to keep a daily record of both the account stat and the achievement progress, to see if you can find a pattern.
i exalt rarely (usually unwanted hatchlings, i don't coli) but i might do the same. the increases should be small but they should at least be reflected in the account stat.
EDIT: actually, for posterity, i have a few hatchlings i can yeet.
Total Dragons Exalted 4904
Total Treasure Earned 75952487
exalted dragons for the following treasure payouts:
2715
2508
2771
2791
2661
2056
Total Dragons Exalted 4910
Total Treasure Earned 75952487
....yeah the treasure earned value didn't budge.

it's been a little over 12 hours, and rollover has happened since i exalted those dragons.
Total Treasure Earned 75953232
that's an increase of 745, from automatically bonding with some familiars before remembering i wasn't supposed to be earning treasure.
i think it's safe to say exalted dragons aren't being counted. i don't know if this is intended or a bug.

Exalted dragons do count for the both the Achievement and the info in your Account settings but it's delayed by 45 days; the amount of time you can restore a dragon you've exalted. I haven't checked if that period disappears if you restore a dragon so you're ineligible to restore another dragon for 45 more days but I'm sure someone will test it eventually.
From what I recall it started before restoration was rolled out.

I want to live in Theory. Everything works there.
Have you checked the
Gem MP for Gene and Breed scrolls before buying an AH listing from me ending in
5g?

nightwind thanks! i assumed the delay would be a few hours, or maybe rollover, not 45 days...that does explain why everyone's so confused about whether or not exalting counts.

Glad to help! I only came across it randomly because I was tracking it for something else and noticed a distinct drop-off in numbers going up.

Nightwind AAHH! Thank you! That makes total sense. And feel silly for not putting 2 and 2 together but now I know. *curious to just test the 'bring one back' theory now*
Aaand just tested it. Exalted and brought back a Tundra, sat on it at least 15 minutes, no change. So no, bringing one back does not appear to speed it up.
