[font=georgia][size=4] Pike here is a dragon who lives for the ocean and its secrets. He doesn't need to see the world around him to fall in love with it - the sounds of the waves, the taste of the salty sea air, and the sound of gulls are all he needs.
It's possible he has come across a mermaid during his many voyages but, unless they stopped to talk with him, he may never have even realised it. And he's fine with that. He doesn't need to know [i]every [/i]secret the sea holds - he just needs its presence to feel at peace.
Pike The Blind Fisherman
