I am soooo weak for female Skydancer pose and Calikoi is gooorrrrgeous<3 <3 I love her and her name!! Ember is also beautiful and I don't think I knew about Hi Utsuri koi, and am going to go look at pics now :D
As far as my boy, I love the spiral look too, but am not super jazzed about some of the flecks markings on spirals. Some look long and stringy to me? Not sure.

Though she doesn't look quite as "koi-like" as some, Sumi here was named after the sumi goromo koi variety that has very dark orange and black markings as I think it suits her quite well! I imagine she lives beneath the lily pads and plays with the lilyfowl.
