Bellodaous on the other hand is a bodygaurd I guess you could say? they're main and really only job is to make sure Saredonta is alive at all cost even their own life but Bellodaous is also a experiment by The Court to make a perfect bodygaurd/assassin so their story is pretty touch and go on Bellodaous breaking from that and being terrified of Saredonta for awhile before Saredonta just kinda goes 'oh neat.' and threatens the rest of The Court to leave them alone lmao

So my oldest pair is Moccasin and Golem.
Golem was once a normal coatl but essentially got cursed. They forgot their past and turned into a mostly magical and inorganic being of magic, hence the name. Spent a very long time just wandering the ruins where it had happened before running into Moccasin, a mercenary. They ended up sticking together and Golem helps Moccasin with his work.
Golem is mute and struggles with non-verbal communication, but Moccasin understands them well enough. They haven't admitted their feelings to each other, but there's no real need to between them.

They need an update to their lore but here's Casimir and Dante. Casimir is from a minor prince from the Worldedge Wetlands who ran away to study magic. He's not terribly good at it yet, but he has the aide of his retainer. Dante is a talented astrologer who believes in the fortunes of the stars. They met their respective journey to the Astrolodome and didn't originally like each other much. It's only through a series of hijinks that they've kept running into each other and slowly growing fond. It's when they get stranded in the Scarred Wastelands that it reached a critical point -
Only for both Casimir and Dante to mistake their growing affections for each other as "loyalty". Dante agreed to swear his loyalty to Casimir and that they would continue to travel together... once they figure out a travel plan out of the Wastes.

Zelda is a business woman and uses her position as a port master to control the economy - particularly that of the black market. She's extremely sharp with a silver tongue, but she's smart enough to keep her front. Of course, her schemes wouldn't be so successful without the aide of her longtime partner (in both senses), Quinne. They were originally rivals and tried to eliminate each other before realizing that they worked better together and their relationship grew from there. Since Zelda always kept her personas separate, most assume that Quinne took over as the boss of the underground.
