THE CURATOR

Cataclysm, lost soul with missing traces of time. They awoke within the territory of Arcane weak, disoriented, and with few traces of what was left of themself. Inscribing down each fading memory to guard it from the distortions from time, they now spend their time wistfully looking towards ephemeral visitors.

It is unknown how long Cataclysm has been alive, and even they have not given a precise number. Decades? Centuries? Their form implies a young age, but their techniques and records imply otherwise. Cataclysm transcribes years of various entries every day, avoiding combat unless their involvement is necessary.

Later I witnessed a group of five. They are what I imagine a group of ragtag kids would look like, but they're all way older than I am! I decided to get their names knowing it would not be long that they'd be here.

Yseult and Tulkun, a pair of radiant Ridgebacks with springs in their steps. Selania, a sleepy Spiral with plans to find a place to settle down. Haliga, the temperamental Tundra who seeks out order in the chaos. Aerheim, the skeptical Skydancer on a pursuit of knowledge.

They really are ragtag kids, might I say.

We couldn't clean up in time in anticipation for a new visitor. He introduces himself as Supernova. At least, he did after nearly calling Uriel a cowardly Pearlcatcher. Not the best save, but good attempt. He actually cleaned the place a little. In reward, I gave him some art supplies so he can draw his adventures.

This one's not bad, even if he's a little posh and... picky. He refuses to eat anything but seafood, which isn't so bad because we have plenty of it. Merely strange. Oh well. Maybe if we see him again, we'll see how his grand adventures turn out.
