@hungryhobbits Ohhh I see! I understand lol one thing I've seen suggested that I really think they should do is just use Ancient Gene Parchments instead of breed-specific genes at Joxar. This way people can trade them out for whatever breed they want at any time, and they can add fest genes to new/other breeds at whatever point they want. Iirc Parchments weren't a think June 2023 but they totally could have just started using them once they made them. Maybe they can switch to Parchments in June 2024 and use those going forward! Could also make space for potential new fest genes (a pipe dream, but one I dream about nonetheless)

oh i wholly agree - the parallel gene thing needed to be figured out properly BEFORE the ancients were even released! but alas, at least we're getting solutions now
