Raffles & Giveaways

I also didn't realize how many of you asked questions in PMs! I'm so sorry for not replying. When I run a raffle, I'll often leave messages unread if I haven't logged them yet- and I only logged everyone at the end of the week.

So to answer some common questions, if a little late:

1) Prepaying was fine. Next time I run something like this, I'll definitely say it explicitly in the rules, since it makes things easier for both of us. :)

2) If you sent in the fee, you can claim the badge. This game was like "a badge buy, with an optional raffle!" So even if you forgot to post, if you sent in the 10kt/g on the day of or 20kt/g after, you're good to go. I went through and tracked everyone here, but like. I'm only avian human, if you have the PM or CR receipt for a day I didn't mark, you're good. :) This was just tracking for convenience.

3) You have until the end of MistJam- so, the end of the week- to buy any badges you're missing. Then, you can take the bonus badge.

4) Yes, my IRL emergency was sorted out nicely. :) Thank you for your concern!

5) Aren't the badges amazing? I'm so lucky to get to work with amazing artists for all these silly events I run. <3 And speaking of my silly events- this is going to be a recurring pinglist. If you want to get alerted when I run a jar guessing game again, click that pinglist widget!

I wish I could reply to everyone's RP, but I've realized that I can't fit that in, and feel I'm giving it it's due time. :') But please know that every time I see someone write a little thing for their character, even two sentences, I smile.

6) Yes, I do like jazz.

The night has you fully in her embrace by the time you stop running around the tiny woods, and the remaining drakes- and some who joined along the way- circling around the Spiral to see what the final tally is. "And it seems like this season, we have [b]44[/b]!" he calls, and you all quietly cheer. "Congrats to...huh, we have another tie, with @caerulius and @TETRAHEDR0N. Did you...collude with the owls...no," he mutters quietly, "that can't happen, they'd never listen." You realize that the last couple hatchlings who are still up are jumping into the air, small sparkles of fireflies peaking out from between their claws. "Let me show you a better way," he says, pulling a small jar out of his satchel, and he deftly scooped some of the small insects up. "I've spent a lot of evenings just catching fireflies." This is the calmest he's been all day, except for his catnap, and he has a small smile as he curls in towards the hatchlings to explain- how the bugs glow, and why- when it's best to watch them- and it's nice to enjoy the night after a day of chasing one thing or another. The Spiral stands up and stretches, wandering back to the adults who're just observing the small light display, and nods. "It's lovely to see young dragons just as excited about our fauna as I was as a young one," He leans in to whisper, and you lean over to hear him better. Thank you for the raffle, it's been fun! Loved the natuarlist theme of it. And now I wish I was able to catch fireflies where I live - I've only caught them once in my life, on a trip to Indiana!
