He's based on an OC dragon who is extremely ancient and lairs on an arctic volcano despite hailing from a much hotter region. His story is one of loss, mourning, and finding new hope and new life. [i]Also I simply adore his colors and how he turned out; he wasn't easy to find in a Gen 1.[/i][/columns] [columns][url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/34152580][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/341526/34152580_350.png[/img][/url][nextcol]Artemis is also an OC, though her usual shape is not a dragon and instead a human woman who turns to becoming a werewolf to save herself from a terminal supernatural illness that would have eventually turned her body into a portal for horrific creatures from a place called the Nowhere. She's become one of my Coli dragons, and she lets me indulge both my love of Metals and Eldritch. Gosh she turned out beautiful. I figured out that certain Flaunt/Flair combos worked extremely well as complementary pairs and got a little fixated. Her Sanguine/Tangerine was one of my favorite matches, and I spent soooo much time grinding the Coliseum to get the materials for her Branches gene. She and her mate are a breeding pair I've dubbed Infernal Monarchy and are a loose reference to Monster Hunter World's Elders Recess region.[/columns]
