It's been the same thing for years but it's an indirect reference to Transformers.
How, you may ask? One of the people who worked on the 2015 Robots in Disguise cartoon talked bout concept discussion for the Decepticons, and one said concept was 'What kid of crimes would an elk commit?'
Said Crime Committing Elk is my favorite Transformer.
