I just send them a PM and let them know that you waited X-amount of time and that they can reach out when they are online again and you can see about locating another Gen 1 for them to receive. Then I go ahead and swap without holding that dragon for them, if they contact you about getting one later, then a cheap AH G1 with smirch slapped on will meet the criteria for this swap thread.
