DragonPromise I don't know if you figured this out yet– The announcement has more items than plots on the digsite because pelts and spears are combined into a single "pack" item, like all other sets of apparel from Arlo. I assume it's to reduce item bloat for easier rough excavations.

I had considered that, but I don't have enough of those blocks cleared yet to be able to see those items clearly to be sure that was the case -- I concentrated on what in previous digsites had proven to be familiars and genes.

maybe i've just been very lucky but i feel like using rugged work even with a bunch of uncovered plots has been more favorable with this expansion! i've been able to spam it and uncover nearly everything pretty quickly! :)
