i really like the creature designs from sky: cotl, they're simple but they still manage to be interesting and shaped the most iconic ones: manta [img]https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/sky-children-of-the-light/images/2/2f/A-White-Manta-in-Prairie.png[/img] and "dark dragon", mostly referred to as "krill" within the community [img]https://i.pinimg.com/originals/54/e1/36/54e136d5279e41e089622154b3a0f002.jpg[/img] i actually have a plushie of this one! very huggable

I'm not picky as long as they look... harmonious? So I have lots of favorites. Excepting the gruesome ones (which I love or course, I love gory stuffs), I don't really like something like half-fish and half-bird or half-dog and half-butterfly. At least they look more... polished? At least they need to be more than just putting two different creatures together. I won't like them still in most cases though... For the same reason, I never liked centaurs/mermaids/harpies/hypogriffs and so on. Unless they're aimed to be abhorrent beasts. (It's.. more like god but whatever) Look at this celestial boi. Shiny, glow and long. Beautiful boi. Woo, shiny. Who hates shiny things? c: The yellow part does look like nebula and spinal cord at the same time. cool :D

Scavengers from Rain World. Pointy, distinct silhouettes and very expressive. That's my opinion, though. being a creatures of sonaria enthusiast,
here are my personal favorites from the
292 creatures ingame. (not a joke)

1. apofuex
i audibly giggled when i first saw this critter

2. mijusuima
i love ambushing with this guy, hes so op like dang!!
also really good for skin making!

3. konomushi
my favorite mantis. i love konomushi a ton, its a very pretty bugger

Some creatures from ARK. Not my absolute favorite creature designs, but my favorites ever are my own species that I won't be sharing in this thread. Giant killer bug. 10/10 [img]https://ark.wiki.gg/images/6/6e/ARK_Genesis2_Promo_Stryders.png[/img] TEK Stryder. My Desktop BG. Literally half the reason I Play ARK. First favorite that I saw right after starting the game the first time. Always draws me in. Now I wanna play ARK just looking at them.

Coming back here AGAIN (sorry) to talk about some of my favorite Pokemon designs (not necessarily all my favorite Pokemon, just a selection of some neat designs): Xurkitree, Sudowoodo, Lurantis, Cosmoem, Breloom, Sableye, Lunatone/Solrock, Kabutops, Roggenrolla, Solosis, Chandelure…and that’s just a few! I had cut down this list so there wouldn’t be too many!!

While I'm not a fan of the gameplay of Creatures of Sonaria because I find it to be very cash-grabby and more "hey play this game for 10 straight hours and we'll give you this rare creature" and I find those types of games to enable certain unhealthy routines in people.
HOWEVER, the designs of the creatures are very cool.


Also, Subnautica leviathans. Especially the Sea Emperor.

Edit: Also also, Rio from Arcane. Cool design. I really REALLY like Arcane. The character designs are sick, some of the people can count as creatures, probably.
