A clan affected by unusual temporal anomalies situated within the Starfall Isles would undoubtedly have dragons bearing the resemblance of their homeland. There is no shortage of dragons who wear their Arcane heritage on their sleeves (quite literally!) whether they were born within the Isles or not.

While he was born in the Southern Icefield, he found a permanent home within the lair of the Temporal Clan and has helped them grow to what they are today. His chosen attire is strongly rooted in his loyalty to his found home rather than any desire to distance himself from his frigid past. A stoic and solemn dragon with a heart of gold who only seeks to prevent catastrophe from befalling those he is close to.[/columns]

[columns]Within the Temporal Clan is a group of magi with expertise in their element. They are knowledgeable and are led by the guiding hand of Caldwell, a clan founder and the residential Ice mage. Serving close under him, however, is the skilled Arcane mage named Starfish. He is a seasoned and enthusiastic researcher who shares his adoration for the lands he thrives in with those around him. Rather than strictly residing in the Isles his entire life, he had ventured around for a time in his youth before settling home to impart his knowledge to like-minded individuals. To a chosen few, however, it is a means to imbue objects with incredible power, to reduce things down to their base aspects, and to gain a deeper understanding of how magic is intrinsically tied to the world itself. Thaumaturgy is the child of Aetherus and Ozul, though Ice and Shadow respectively, their union created the first-born primal Arcane dragon within the lair. Hailed as a miracle, Thaumaturgy was revealed as a sacred omen of great things to come to the clan, a miracle in its own right. The proud parents raised their child to be the truest aspect of Arcane one could be, though with few words, it's hard to say just how Thaumaturgy feels about this position held within the clan. Woo-hoo! Arcane dragons! Everyone's looks so cool and I'm definitely lurking here for inspiration. I have a mostly Arcane-themed lair, so I'm kind of spoiled for choice, but here are my picks:

Philippe is a brilliant young battle mage who combines magic with existing weapons and armor-related technology. His biggest accomplishments are building his own prosthetic arm that enhances his magic abilities and designing an enchanted suit of armor for his friend, Bertilde.

Andras is a denizen of the Starwood Strand and slightly over-zealous summoner. He has recently brought back...someone who's probably not entirely mortal. Andras has the distinct feeling that he's bitten off more than he can chew, but what says 'Arcane' more than messing with forces you don't entirely understand?

Speaking of which, Charybdis is what happens when two incompetent necromancers make an ill-advised attempt at creating a chimera to guard their estate. Being that neither of them are at all well-versed in that kind of magic, the end result was a rather amiable house pet. She's a good girl, though.
