i was going to suggest impressive title/feral heart but im not 100% what the status of either game is like because the feral heart website is giving me a warning when trying to access it and im not putting it up to chance to figure out why (unleashed looks safe though). impressive title went defunct in 2010 but i found a post here of servers that are still active in some capacity. i'll be honest, i haven't touched this game since the early 2010's so i have no idea what's going on with the community or why there's offshoots of these games now (looks like the source code was made available), im not a mmo kind of person but i did very much enjoy goofing around with friends in the short bursts i did manage to play. never touched anything outside of the vanilla game so i'd imagine there's a ton more to do with the servers/mods.

i hope the game im working on takes off because if i had the funding and manpower to make a fer. al/animal jam/moshi monsters/club penguin/habbo hotel for adults, i would. i long to customize my virtual room and play minigames to feed my poor little scrimblo blorpus so it won't cry and get scammed out of my rares just like i used to ;-;

awww i miss feral, it was definitely the most involved i've ever been in an online community.

a lot of my online friends that also played feral have recently been getting into a game called palia! i've been really busy and havent checked it out yet so i'm not sure how similar it is to feral, but it seems like a cozy sort of game with lots of crafting/material gathering/house customization.

i've spent a while searching for a feral alternative myself, and the conclusion i've come to is that there just... isn't one really </3 there are plenty of mmos that replicate one or two things that i liked about it, but nothing that checks every box or even most of them. it really was one-of-a-kind and i think that's why i'm still grieving it :pensive:

emuferal is kinda your best bet but i can confirm it's pretty quiet. it IS a quality fanserver, though! i showed a friend around a little while ago and it seemed more or less feature-complete. i gotta get back on there and remake all of my old looks sometime... the 100 decal limit is a godsend

[snip] [/quote] Feral Heart is safe, it's always given false-positives on antivirus programs in the past few years because it just doesn't have a license for it + there's no acknowledgement of who exactly created it! On the downside, it's community isn't all too active as I remember it being </3 --- That being said, after being so closely tied up with playing Fer.al, there are often times where I've tried finding things close to it but it never really feels the same :( I suppose there's Animal Jam (Play Wild) after bringing in crafting, but the limitations of chatting, avatar decor and quests are so restricting (alongside the company being. well you know [emoji=skull size=1]). I've ended up moving on while keeping the saved soundtracks onto my music playlists, but hopefully a fun MMO pops up sometime in the future despite it all.

Fer.al is hard to replace. Very hard. The closest games to it in vibe I've played have been Sky: Children of the Light and Griffin's Destiny on Roblox ironically, and neither are exact replacements

Fer.al actually has a relaunch game made by the community! You can look up EmuFeral and there's a complete copy of the game the devs r working on updating frequently!
Sky; CotL is similar I think imo, but not an exact copy if you were wanting to play something other than :p

Finally people who talk about fer.al on here! I miss that game so much I used to pay it religiously and was at a high exp level, one of two games I actually spent real money on. I found it so cool that they included lesser known creatures like senri and kirin, and I miss hanging out in centuria as well as the blood tundra(that OST was amazing). I am also looking for alternatives as well I have recently been playing creatures of sonaria as while it dose not have that great of graphics but you can play as a wide variety of mythical creatures. Griffins destiny’s customization is similar but the game feels a bit empty/boring at time at least in my opinion. Feel free to pm me if you wish to discuss this game or any memories of it!

[/quote] I'm in a discord for a remake of Feralheart called Feralbound! They're working on coding the game itself, but the discord is pretty bustling with what's to come! From what I understand, it's being built using the source code that FH used, and FH is where my online RPing began, so I'm very excited to see where it goes from there <3
