i was just think of a tertiary gene, that would make the skeleton of the dragon show up on it's scales in there tertiary color of that dragon .
i know that was what i was thinking , which is why i put it up as a suggestion, but i am not very good at describing stuff though , but i have seen a accent that dose this only it looks like it would glow in the dark.

what i'm thinking your talking about is that the dragon looks like a skeleton kind of and it's bones are the tertiary color for example if a dragon's tertiary color was blue the color of the bones would be blue

no , what i mean is that the skeleton of the dragon will appear like a tattoo on the dragon's body like how tertiary genes do.
