A head would shoot up from the thick fog, the spiral looking around almost as if startled. She hoped to figure out where she was, to remember how she came here...but no luck. The Spiral wondered if investigating this unknown place would be a good idea or her downfall...and yet, something in the back of her mind told her that staying idle wouldn't be wise. A hiss would leave her lips at the sudden collision of the smaller dragon. Confused and unsure of her surrounding, the mirror was quick to move and pin down the spiral, fangs bared "Who are you? Where am I? Did you bring me here?" The words were hard to tell apart from hiss, something in the back of her head told her that the spiral was no enemy, but she felt wary of trusting a gut feeling so blindly...especially when her memories were so foggy...

Heavy stomping only a couple inches from the two dragons would make them freeze, looking at the narrowed eyes of the Obelisk that came out from the fog without previous warning, a deep rumbling voice greeting them...commanding... "Enough! Based on your little quarrel, I'm guessing neither of you knows how we got here as well...fighting won't help, and as strange as this might sound...part of me feels that our meeting today was no coincidence"
plaguemid.png
As the dragons tried to make heads or tails of their foggy past and where were they, they would eventually find out each of them held a tiny piece of paper, torn in three, when put together would read...

“To: Sirel, Argai and Thicket

Fight to survive, learn to thrive.
If luck shines upon you, perhaps one day,
we’ll meet again”

The three dragons recognized their names, but nothing more...looking at each other with confused glances. It seemed like they were allies from now on as they tried to figure out how to survive in this awful place

Time seemed to lose meaning in this mysterious place, and they couldn't tell for sure they hadn't been going in circles as the fog was so thick they had to stick within touch distance of each other just to make sure they wouldn't get separated and lost, even the idea of trying to fly up and out of the fog was quickly dismissed...and yet none dared to say a thing nor stop to take breaks...in their gut, they knew that if they did they wouldn't see another morning. After what felt like forever, they would break through the fog, finding a cave that seemed to have been inhabited at one point or another...but based on the debris and scents, whoever lived here once was long gone. The fog seemed to stop a couple of feet away from the cave entrance, it felt...oddly safe-ish. Better than braving the strange fog and whatever might lurk in it during the night anyways. And so, using the debris, they quickly put together a small barricade as they moved into what would be their new home for the time being...while not a luxurious place by any means, it at least had enough space to house them comfortably and several rooms that, once cleaned, could prove to become lairs for each of them. ]In the main room, a large weathered yet perfectly usable cauldron rested on its side, Thicket quickly moved towards it and put special care to clean it...for some reason, he knew that in the future, it would become important...and somehow, he knew exactly how to use it.[/columns] ------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------ The Dragons can now melt down items to get transmutation ingredients using the cauldron After cleaning out the cave they would now call home, they knew they would need to find food and supplies should they want to survive...their wings carried them as if they knew the way better than their owners, and within minutes, the fog once more parted to show some green fields... ]In the main room, a large weathered yet perfectly usable cauldron rested on its side, Thicket quickly moved towards it and put special care to clean it...for some reason, he knew that in the future, it would become important...and somehow, he knew exactly how to use it.

Days have gone by since the arrival of the dragons to these cursed territories. What at first seemed to be an unhospitable land has slowly started o become home as they expand their lair and everything inside. And as the fog slowly recedes due to the efforts of their slowly growing number of familiars, more suitable lairs have started to be uncovered, as well as a nice, cold underground cave void of visible infection where they have started to store food and other potential perishables, preventing their decay.

The three dragons are managing to slowly yet surely adapt to the ups and downs of the world that surrounds them, and it's best they did so as quickly as they managed, because one of the downsides of their slow expansion and prosperity, is that now they are turning eyes their way...

82377486p.png The mirror would usher some of the newly gathered familiars into the newly constructed pen they had made for those that showed no signs of sentience...not like she could complain, as this finally kept them away from bothering them as they slept, or piling on them as if it was some kind of annoying game "Thicket! Your zoom-noodle got into the apparel again!"
81597235p.png "Sirel, careful with those...you know that they are not easy to come by" As the Mirror handles the more animalistic familiars, the Obelisk tried to make those that showed signs of sentience welcomed, showing them around and trying his best to communicate with them...he couldn't tell for sure if his words were understood by them, but so far, they seemed to at least catch the basics of what he was trying to tell them
83183628p.png "But they are so PRETTY!!!" A happy chuckle leaves her lips as she raises some apparel pieces with both hands, causing an eye-roll from the Mirror, and a chuckle from the Obelisk
