Um, yeah. Actually I could list almost every dragon (other than my progens and some hatchlings) as impulse buys. I looked at how long breeding took (days and days and daaayyyys) and then took a loot in the AH (OMG how incredible - along with incredibly expensive).
Then, I ran into (was totally seduced by) the Threads about Givaways and Exalt rescue. Initially I was just "wow, gorgeous - I can haz this?" and then only later started actually considering who would be a good mate for who.
My most recent Impulse (and thanks again to the kind one who shared her) was this lovely:

I found her on a thread of "I'm leaving FR, please take my dragons"; I have no other snappers, I she didn't match any breeding plans or inspirations, but I read the bio (go ahead and peek, I'll add to it but I won't delete it) and practically cried at the thought that there she was, "abandoned" and her little hunger bar getting lower and lower.
It's been a few days, and she just met me at the crossroads today.
As for actual impulse "buys" I was looking around for something (I don't even recall what) and found this guy for so inexpensive that I just bought him and then kind of afterward looked at my hands on the keyboard and said to myself "well guess I just bought that dragon".
