Although she wasn't a first-generation nocturne, [b] Ivy[/b] was born the week of NotN and became a Nocturne from the only Nocturne scroll I've ever found during this event. Ivy loves this time of year and the has no shame in letting the clan know it. Every year, Ivy takes time off her job (which is insect gathering which isn't that great in the winter anyway) and decorates the clan's trees, houses, and walkways as well as help supply both hatchlings and dragons with all the things they need to make their own ornaments. Each tree Ivy decorates is dedicated to one of the clan's Guilds where each member's ornaments will be displayed making it that much more special.

A long-standing NotN tradition within the clan that persists to this day is when it comes to naming the Nocturne hatchlings found by the patrollers or tucked away in strange chests. Apparently, the Caretakers thought it would be best to name the hatchlings after famous scientists and artists to promote that they would grow up to be just as such. [b]Cornelius[/b] is my first NotN Nocturne hatchling and the kick starter of this tradition and has lived up to his name. As of today, he is the clan's Lightning Ambassador and a great one at that.

He loves the holidays probably even rivaling Ivy but goes the extra mile by actually giving gifts to all of his clan mates for Christmas. . . by delivering them on Christmas Eve. . . with his name lining up with a certain red-nosed reindeer. Yeah, I think the Caretakers were on the nose with this name. Not only is he well known for his wonderful gift giving but also amongst the Imperials around the clan that he believes himself to be. He even goes so far as wearing his own antlers to mimic them.
