Pickaxe's are why I have unearthed the same few familiar plots over 4 times each. I only need 1 of the fams... why do they *always* go for the fam plots?

I've unearthed the same familiar plot FIVE times now. I haven't gotten either of the genes once yet... they're not even halfway done. I'm in shambles
