@icecreamcobraman Hope you are doing well! I finished lore for Nettle! (She's the Imperial, I referred to her as Nettle in the lore bcs I'm aiming to name change her :))
Nettle breathed out a sigh of relief as the long grass growing in the wide field tickled her underbelly. This sanctuary was what the clan had bestowed upon her with their blessing when she entered their realm. A site of peace, serenity, and beauty. The sun was just setting over the hill, a perfect time for caring for her garden. In the morning and evening were the best times to water plants, according to what Nettle’s mother had told her. During mid-day and the afternoon, the sun’s glare warms up the earth and causes the water provided to the plants to boil, making them vulnerable.
Nettle headed off in the direction that she knew would take her across a bridge over a half-filled lake bed and into the fenced off area she loved as her garden. As soon as she entered, she was filled with the magic of the place, the melody of the birdsongs. As she carefully walked up and down the winding, pebbled path, sprinkling the greens with water, she hummed along to the hidden melody that only this place gave her.
Perhaps, someday, she would open her heart to dragon as much as she had to this garden, and maybe even welcome others into this place of, there was no other word to describe it, magic. The plants here filled her with joy, and she whisper to them her stories and deepest secrets. They were her constant companions, and they forgave her for her terrible past, for the sin that she had, involuntarily, committed. The Clan of the Cranes had listened to her story with sympathy and understanding, but there weren’t many in the world who would. Now, she was just glad that she had found herself a home.
