October is on its way, which means Halloween is just around the corner! So, I wanted to make a discussion to help get everyone in a spooky mood.
If you had to be a monster, which one would you be? You don’t have to limit yourself to just beast-like monsters, btw. You can also choose things like vampires, zombies, ghosts, and the like. Any folktale monster or cryptid is fair game.

Might not be the objectively coolest choice for a monster, but for the lifestyle alone I have to pick being a bridge troll.
Imagine having a nice home near a river AND getting payed for having such a nice home (either in money or food, depending on how complient visitors are), that's the life. I can only dream of having a job that chill.

a ghost of some sorts
i already move so quietly that people have a hard time noticing my presence and thus proceed to get jumpscared ( unintentionally )
it's nice when you just want to mind your own business and move along with your day
ghosts also make me think of autumn because of our autumn exuinox pagan traditions that i was raised on, and boy do i love everything about autumn
probably why, back when halloween was first injected into my country's subconscious through media, i never really got the vibe bc big "spooky" autumn event for me was harvest festivities

gonna get hyper-specific: undead elf. any flavor of undead really, but I think being a spooky elf would be a grand ole time.
