I'm really taking my time with the show, so I've only seen episodes 1-4. I didn't know this fact - interesting though. Wonder what they have in mind for the actor. Aside from me not enjoying Johanna, The Sandman is just so good.. don't want to watch it all suddenly :')

Watched the entire show twice and now I'm halfway through Season of Mists.

Finished watching it yesterday. That's one amazing show. I enjoyed it a lot.
Am currently listening to the audiobook version. Haven't read the comics yet either, but might do so in the future.

i loved it! i love the comics, though i admit im not even halfway through haha.
casting was amazing imo. especially morpheus... my sad wet cat of a man...
the bonus episode was really good, too! a dream of a thousand cats is one of my favorite of the comics

Okay, nevermind, I'm not sure if I should read the comics. I know the gore in the series was turned down from the original, yet it still made me frequently mildly uncomfortable. Not in a "this is too much and unecessary"-way, just in a "it sets the tone"-way. It does what its needs to.
...But listening to the audiobook now, it makes me more and more glad that an audiobook is not a visual medium. I'm not much for visual gore, but can stand descriptions just fine, if that makes sense.

Yeah, I thought the same thing... Death should've also been cast differently, in my opinion.
