im on the aro and ace spectrum, and its soo hard for me to tell if my feelings are romantic or platonic. hell, i dont even know my own sexuality. i dont know if im lesbian or bi, its hard to tell if im actually attracted to guys or not

for some weird reason, most people at my school assume i have Gender of some kind. which i do, i don’t know what Gender exactly but i do. like, for example, just the other day, my science teacher (who has never before this asked pronouns of anyone and i haven’t openly come out to her abt using they/them) apologized for calling me a girl ??

one of my classmates, who i barely know, also did this once. i've been sort of discretely pulled aside during passing periods by multiple teachers on separate occasions to ask my pronouns (altho this was near the start of the year)

i can’t count all the occasions, but a ton of my classmates (who, again, i barely know) have said smth along the lines of “sorry for assuming you’re (use she/are a girl). i mean it’s okay if you are but it’s ok if you’re not that’s cool too”

i guess i just have those vibes??? can’t be too mad about bc they’re right about it, just. Weird.

I was thinking about why I don’t really read books intended for adults and I realized that it’s probably because I’m asexual?
Like so many things centre around that type of attraction even in genre fiction and I just. Do not care. Please tell me the story, not whose bed the characters want to be in.
