Sorry I haven't done a story snippet or given an update, busy or distracted keeps me from doing it :'D actually lemme get that done now before another distraction comes -ahem- ------ [center]Another lone egg nest sits in Gale's care while the parents talk amongst themselves during the hours they are both awake. Seranida and Alaric talk in the late evenings and early mornings about various things. Her journey on this quest of hatchlings.. His adventures through Sornieth and the stars that seem to guide him. She watches his stars glow brighter in the evening hours and wonders if he is not of this world.. though one may never know for sure as he isn't telling. During the night under a bright moon, the single egg hatches under Alaric's watch. And it isn't long before he tries to teach the constellations and the ways home, either here or back to his clan's home in the Tangled wood. Awww! That was so lovely! And you are absolutely right. This hatchling's colours are very grounding. I admire all of you who write such lovely lore.

For a while, the town was stalked by a Guardian and Gaoler of the Plague domain.. and for a while they've disappeared for who knows why. So when a lone dragon that sported the looks of a troublesome sub-race, there was a bit of uproar to keep them away. Only when they saw his eyes were of the same green as theirs did they realize he wasn't part of the problematic sub-race of ... zombies. Absurd as it was to think, they couldn't be too careful since the breaking of the truce. As an apology for jumping to conclusions, Phozoteus was invited in and treated to a night's rest and filling food. While he stayed at Aatto's inn, Seranida was visiting and just checking with the owner and guests. It wasn't long before he caught wind of what she may be trying to do.. and hey it was a stressful day, why not find a way to relax a little more? [center]Morning came and Phozoteuw was gone... but his only duty on Seranida's mind was done. He'll be a bit of a mystery to the town and why he came along, but far as anyone knows he didn't cause anyone trouble during his very short stay. In his absence he left three eggs for our Matriarch and more quality time with Gale as they watched over the clutch together. Days past and she wakes to her new hatchlings climbing all over her. Chewing on her horns.. In trying to scour all of the Gladekeepers domain first, he happens upon Trearge and browses the town. There's so much to marvel and get lost in with this stop that his stay happens longer than expected. The town was welcoming as always and the streets are safe to travel at night. One such night Onca is watching a fellow Guardian and his charge go across the square.. and just beyond him is a rather disappointed looking Seranida.. Curious, he heads over and questions her predicament. It looks like the Wildclaw is in need of some help.. and he likes to be helpful! Though what he might be helping with wasn't the first thought he had on the list when they got to talking. [center]Onca was.. a little perplexed at how helpful he was that night. And really wasn't sure where to go from there considering he had his previous mission of looking for his charge. Seranida completely understood if he just needed to continue his hunt and Gale, with her mate Kessla, were happy to give some help in what he might be looking for. The Guardians mingled for a little while as the young one slowly understood that his search was much bigger than expected.. but he wasn't about to give up. Not when there was such an itch to scratch as his whole species has. He promised to come and visit if his charge was mobile and willing.. and bid them goodbye. Some weeks later, his hatchlings came and crawled in the nursery. One nearly bright and colorful like his father.. Wouldn't it have been something if his charges were actually one of his offspring.. and how long, if that's the case, would he be looking for them when they too leave. It'll be easy, she says. Bahat was adamant now, while helping Seranida to complete her quest, that she should find one of all the species to make hatchlings with. Seranida barely gave most Faes a glance. Sure they were pretty to the eye.. but they're so small. What kind of warrior would that make for an army. Well.. is been argued they are strong magic users and what better spies to be than a very small one. There are lots of ways to be useful to a cause than just brute strength alone. Annnd Faux just so happened to get an apprentice for a while in her ice cream shop and they are a Fae! It.. took a bit to get a message across, but Reese apparently loves a challenge once he understood. [center]Gale wondered if Reese would spoil his children with the ice cream he produces while at the shop.. and he all but confirmed it when Seranida straight up asked. Why deny a sweet treat handmade by your own parent? Plus its a good way to know if you're doing it right and the flavors work well cuz kids are so bad at lying.. The Wildclaw mother is going to make sure they get SOME greens in them and plenty of hearty insects.. As they hatch and crawl, its amazing how they take after their father still and inspire him for some new flavors. Chocolate with ribbons of white chocolate and strawberry!
