I have done that, and do that fairly often. It still doesn’t change that. I think it might be easiest not to sell any more dragons.

One more thing to try:
Open your browser in incognito/private mode and sign into FR and see if the money value is any different.
If it isn't, send a bug report to FR and include the screenshots:

This is a serious issue that they will want to know about and hopefully will be able to fix.
