@Cattafang [img]https://www1.flightrising.com/dgen/preview/dragon?age=1&body=10&bodygene=40&breed=12&element=3&eyetype=0&gender=0&tert=163&tertgene=73&winggene=2&wings=8&auth=7017db8d9c7d7351260cd8aa597eaf6a7be31d5c&dummyext=prev.png[/img] [size=2]- coatl give off vague cat energy (fluffy, flexible, probably hides great danger behind veneer of cuteness) and your vista had snakes in it anyways. i also sorta thought the quick temper played into the 'fang' in your user. - when i read your user the first thing i thought of was smilodon/sabertooth tigers, hence the primary. i originally tried to make it brown to mimic the actual animal but it didn't match very well with anything else. - koi is mainly for the calico pattern; i also considered spines but it didn't look that interesting. - debated on whether to choose trail and stripes for the secondary, eventually went with stripes because the eye shape on trail got covered up by the koi splashes. - wanted the eyes to be really noticable, so i decided on innocent. - deliberated between wind, fire, and light as elements for a while. eventually went with wind, since both your profile dragon and vista have shades of green in them and the green popped out most against the rest of the dragon imo.[/size]

I thought the Python looked like rolling waves and the Savanna like deep-sea plants or coral The glowing eyes and Firefly gene are similar to how many deep-sea creatures are bioluminescent.

I based it off the great blue heron in coloration and with the male ridgeback's nose, but I wasn't able to work in the teeth aspect more specifically than the general spikiness of the Ridgeback.
