Well, now that I’m feeling thoroughly self-conscious as someone who uses capitalization, punctuation and the XD :) and *^^* emoticons rather frequently to express positive things and not passive aggressiveness...

Maybe y’all can answer something for me.

Em... In my mind, ":)" is just plain creepy. (also "(:" the reverse version lol)

But I tend to use ^^ & ^w^ & ^v^ & ^-^ & :> & :< & :3 & :D & uvu & uwu & ;w; & ;>; & :V & OvO & OoO (well I think you get it)

Like-
":)" gives me a feeling of "prepare to die" and stuff;; well, just some bad feeling I can't really explain ;w;

For me it’s “XD”, if someone uses it I almost always just automatically assume they’re around 13 because well, that’s how I typed at 13 :’)
