-Anyhow-
Starlight has two personalities, similar but slightly different. This is the first (this is also part of her lore, which I haven't even gotten 1/4 of the way through TvT- but yeah I guess this'll have to do for now). The second is in her toyhouse profile.
She appears cold and unfriendly, but in reality she's watching you out the corner of her eye- she's too scared to talk to you.
She doesn't care about strangers, since it'll just be a one-time-chat. However...
If the individual is somebody whom Starlight knows about and wants to befriend, she'll never approach them directly. She's way too afraid about how they'll judge her. (a.k.a., the impressions are important)
And she knows this, as a socially awkward individual. She's not the best conversation striker, she's unable to enter others' chats smoothly, she can't keep conversations going, but she's definitely able stop one any second...
So she chooses to stay silent.
Most of the criteria above doesn't apply when she's around her friends, though. She still watches her language & actions to some extent, but she's mostly open and easygoing.

On the positive side, Starlight's very protective over the ones she values much...
On the negative, Starlight's super self-conscious, constantly trying to guess what others might think of her and her actions. She also becomes too attached and possessive sometimes- a trait she's currently trying to rid herself of.

Starlight's coatl appearance is supposedly simply colored black from snout to tail-tip, with no noticeably light spots anywhere except the decorative, star-resembling white specks decorating her wings (both pairs), crest fur, head feathers and head fur. She has white-silvery teardrop scales behind her eyes as well. With her coloring, she’ll be perfectly matched with the sky of the darkest night.
She's able to shift the "stars" around however much she likes, but most of the time, they're inside her wings.
the "stars" are "alive;" they twinkle when you look at them closely <3
(* About her eyes!- She has human-like eyes with white scleras, black irises and black pupils that glow white whenever she wants them to, like stars)
(the specks floating around in her irises are tiny, both in size and in amount.)
Sometimes, Starlight wears a cloak. (basically, the background of the image above is the fabric. if textured, it's watery, smooth & silky.)
