So I couldn't figure out how to post an image on a forum so I posted it to my art shop page on tumblr. It took me an hour and a half to finish it enough for me to like it.

You should be able to right click on the image in your tumblr, choose 'save image address' or similar.
While composing your forum post you should see a row of buttons along the top of your text box, you click the tree picture and a popup appears wherein you paste the link to the image.
