I was about to say "Well, $500 seems a lot for a helmet", and then I remembered the cost of some of my helmets. XD
Heck, one of my friends spent close to $1500 on the various parts for their Mandalorian armor. I know the helmet was like $200 (unfinished, so with paint and the little fan they installed to keep from overheating at cons and stuff it was a little more) and the flak vest was something like $200 or so (real leather) and everything just added up.

Some people say they're creepy, most say thats a waste of money, but I think they're neat so I collect them.
