EDIT: after some nearly unanimous feedback, i've tweaked the outfit w/ a few more warm gold-toned pieces, as well as some experimental headgear. thoughts?

As is, basic looks better. However blend might look nicer if you add a bit more gold jewelry or such accent highlights into the outfit

Personally, I think the blend looks better, but in agreement with AgentBonkers, I think it'd look even better with some more golden/yellow apparel (perhaps something like a deadeye's hat?).

I agree with AgentBonkers. I love the basic look for a dark and mysterious barbarian. But you can go with an ancient king look with more gold jewelry and blend.

I like Blend better, it makes him seem more approachable - which would be good if he's a courier/guide - but I agree with the others. Both are really nice, though. :)

The biggest stand-out to me is that blend highlights a lot of the lighter colors in the poison. I prefer basic just for that dark look, but both of them look nice!
I think that the gold tones help accent everything in the blend, so the outfit works really nicely with it especially.
