Are you getting an error message? Are you trying to auction something that is clan-bound like your progenitors (first two dragons you start with)?
If you're getting an error message that looks something like this:
It means you need to select Gems when deciding you want to sell for gems. Simply putting numbers in the box beside the selector for gems is not enough.
Click the radio button next to Gems and it will allow you to post items for gems.
